CORVALLIS — Michael Gray, DPT, manager of The Corvallis Clinic Physical Therapy Department, has successfully completed a fellowship that has earned him the title of Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, the highest level of training attainable for physical therapists.
The three-year Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy involves general coursework, one-on-one mentoring, assisting in teaching national continuing education courses, conducting research that is publishable, rigorous clinical exams, and a final exam.
In November, Gray will be confirmed as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) at the national conference of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT).
