The Corvallis Clinic Foundation is dedicated to support the health care careers of future doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals by offering scholarships. Current scholarship include:
James R. Naibert, M.D., Scholarship
An endowed scholarship in honor of James R. Naibert, a retired family physician who practiced at The Corvallis Clinic’s Waverly Drive facility and the Immediate Care Center. His patients chose to recognize his efforts by establishing the scholarship for area students who demonstrate an interest in working in a health-related profession that involves direct patient care. James A. Riley Health Occupation Scholarship
Named in honor of a former Clinic physician and founder of The Clinic Foundation, Dr. James A. Riley. These scholarships are for two community college and university students who have decided to pursue a career in a health-related field. Applications are available through school counseling or financial aid offices.
George W. Knox Memorial Scholarship
Established by the Foundation and the George W. Knox family in honor of the well-respected neurologist George W. Knox. Through this endowment, a $500 scholarship is awarded each year to a Corvallis area high school student who expresses an interest in entering a health-related career field or the humanities. Applications are available through the school’s counseling and/or financial offices.
