Lorri Hendon, DO, will retire on June 14, 2024, after serving The Corvallis Clinic and the Philomath community for 29 years.
Dr. Hendon has been a dedicated physician and key leader throughout her career. She has served as department chair, committee member and chair, and board director, contributing significantly to The Corvallis Clinic’s operations and governance.
Reflecting on her career, Dr. Hendon shared that working with her team at Philomath Family Medicine has been the best part. She remarked, “To have collaborative and supportive medical partners has a huge impact on the culture of the office. We all know we can depend on each other if something comes up. This was the office culture established decades ago by the practice’s founders, Dr. Grube and Dr. Cutsforth, and I think we have done a pretty good job maintaining it.”
Dr. Hendon has also been deeply involved in community activities, enhancing healthcare and well-being. She and her husband will remain patients at the practice and are grateful for the continued presence of excellent clinicians in their community since 1993.
