Dr. Light will diagnose, manage and treat allergies, sinusitis, smell disorders, polyps, and nasal obstruction due to a deviated septum. He can also correct the appearance of the nose (rhinoplasty surgery).
Throat: Dr. Light has expertise in managing diseases of the larynx (voice box) and the esophagus, including voice and swallowing disorders.
Head and Neck: In the head and neck area, Dr. Light can treat infectious diseases, both benign and malignant (cancerous) tumors, salivary and thyroid disorders, facial trauma, and face deformities. He can provide care to patients struggling with sleep disorders and obstructive sleep apnea.
Pediatrics: Dr. Light treats all ages of patients. Pediatric patients have unique problems, including recurrent ear infections, hearing loss, enlarged tonsils, nasal obstructed breathing, sleep-disordered breathing, and neck masses in childhood.
Dr. Light specializes in comprehensive nasal care, including in-office and operative sinus procedures for managing chronic sinus disease. Procedures for nasal obstructed breathing and deformity include septoplasty, nasal valve repair, and rhinoplasty. He works in a multidisciplinary approach with Allergy and Immunology to provide comprehensive care, which may consist of surgical interventions for the nose and sinuses.
Dr. Light also provides surgical care for a comprehensive approach to managing sleep-disordered breathing and associated problems.
