After an impressive 27 years of dedicated service, Edward Wolf, MD, is retiring from The Corvallis Clinic on June 28, 2024. Dr. Wolf’s career has been a testament to exceptional medical care, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to his patients.
Dr. Wolf significantly contributed to The Corvallis Clinic during his nearly three-decade tenure. One of his notable roles was serving on the PEER Review Committee as a Credentials & Discipline Subcommittee Chair from 2007 to 2010. In this capacity, he was crucial in maintaining the highest standards of medical practice and professional conduct within The Clinic. His efforts ensured that patients received the best possible care and that The Corvallis Clinic adhered to rigorous ethical standards.
In addition to his work on the PEER Review Committee, Dr. Wolf served several terms as the Medical Department Chair for Internal Medicine, as well as being the Medical Director for Laboratory Services, focusing his time on the coumadin clinic. His numerous contributions played a crucial part in shaping The Corvallis Clinic today.
Reflecting on his career, Dr. Wolf expressed deep gratitude for the collaborative spirit he experienced at The Corvallis Clinic. “It has been a real privilege working with so many outstanding colleagues within the department as well as the subspecialties in caring for my patients over the past 27 years,” he remarked. “It has also been an honor to know many patients for almost three decades and humbling to recognize the trust they put in me to care for their medical needs.” His words highlight his profound connections with colleagues and patients, fostering community and mutual respect.

As Dr. Wolf embarks on the next chapter of his life, he eagerly anticipates new adventures and cherished moments with his family. One of the highlights of his retirement is his daughter’s upcoming wedding. In addition, he plans to spend more time with his family, embarking on adventurous backpacking trips with his children and grandchildren in the scenic landscapes of Oregon and California.
