Glenn Huerta-Enochian, M.D., has joined The Corvallis Clinic Obstetrics/Gynecology Department. He can be reached at 541-754-1267.
Dr. Huerta-Enochian practices office gynecology, focusing on women’s health, and is particularly interested in endocrinology, and prevention and wellness. He no longer provides surgical or obstetrical services.
He said he tries to provide time to educate his patients and listen to their concerns to improve their health. “I act as an advocate for the patient,” he said, “and I am always interested in trying to research the patients’ issues so that I can be a more effective physician.”
Dr. Huerta-Enochian was with Samaritan Gynecology and Surgical Associates in Corvallis from 2006 to 2014. He has previously practiced in Portland and with Sutter Health in California where he received awards for his teaching skills.
He completed his residency in 1987 at Oregon Health & Science University and earned his medical degree in 1983 from the University of California at Davis. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Huerta-Enochian enjoys traveling, gardening, fly fishing, and contract bridge. He and his wife, Kathie, have five children and four grandsons.
