CORVALLIS — North Albany now has two additional primary care providers – thanks to The Corvallis Clinic’s new airy building with its abundance of natural light.
Clinic providers have recently begun seeing patients at The Corvallis Clinic at North Albany, located at 633 NW North Albany Road, between Highway 20 and NW Hickory Street.
“We recognized some time ago that Albany was one of our key areas to serve,” said Clinic CEO Ed Kelly. “We have been in Albany for many years, and this new facility reflects this continued commitment. It is the most recent example of our continued growth and investment in the communities we serve, including Albany.”
The two-story building increases the size of The Clinic’s North Albany presence to 15,000 square feet and offers roomier waiting areas and larger exam rooms. The previous one-story North Albany Village site was 7,200 square feet.
A total of six primary care providers practice at The Corvallis Clinic at North Albany:
- Robert Wirth, M.D.
- Bénie Pham, M.D.
- Maritza Rosales, M.D.
- Heather McLean, FNP-C
- Michael Sherman, M.D.
- Damian Jorgensen, M.D.
These providers anchor an onsite primary care team that includes staff and providers from The Clinic’s Care Coordination, Integrated Behavioral Health and Medicare Wellness departments. In addition, patients of The Clinic’s Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine departments are being seen at the new site.
The project applied a new patient-centric approach to design, said Justin Hurley Braswell, executive vice president and chief strategy officer for Rubicon Investments, which partnered with TVA Architects and LCG Pence Construction to develop the site.
“We added pieces to make the surroundings more inviting for the patient,” Braswell said. “The spaciousness created by the high ceilings, large windows and skylights, and the ability to see outside makes it more calming for patients.”
CEO Kelly said the facility incorporates contemporary designs “to provide a warm, welcoming feel, with plenty of natural light.”
He said the building enhances The Clinic’s medical-services capacity to match the current and future growth of Albany. “We are excited to provide the greater Albany area our high level of quality care in this convenient, modern location to best serve our patients.”
An official grand opening for The Corvallis Clinic at North Albany is planned for late November.
