CORVALLIS —With Medicare Open Enrollment for 2018 only a few weeks away, The Corvallis Clinic is hosting a free Just for Seniors event on Wednesday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Asbury Building Lobby, 3680 NW Samaritan Dr., Corvallis.
Representatives of senior insurance plans and members of the Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance (SHIBA) program will be on hand at the free event. The Corvallis Clinic’s new Medicare Wellness Program nurse practitioner, Elisabeth Mahmud, AGNP-C, will be on hand for questions, as well as physical therapists, dietitians, and diabetes management nurses.
“This event provides an opportunity to learn more about Medicare Advantage Plan options that partner with The Clinic,” said Ms. Mahmud. “We hope to encourage patients to select a plan that will help them receive continuous, comprehensive care.”
