Gregory M. Valle, OD
Ophthalmology/Optometry
Accepting new patients
“I love that I can help people see and perform better and help them maintain their vision throughout life. These are things that continue to make every day rewarding.”
Gregory Valle, OD, is a board-certified optometrist providing eye examinations and vision care. Dr. Valle emphasizes the importance of eye health and has a particular interest in ocular surface disease (also known as dry eye syndrome), glaucoma, retinal disorders, and systemic conditions that can manifest as eye-health complications. He describes his purpose during an eye exam as one that simultaneously evaluates vision and eye health while also helping the patient better understand their vision and eye health.
Dr. Valle offers extended office hours on Tuesday to Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, to accommodate patients who require more flexible appointment times.

Dr. Gregory Valle is an Oregonian through and through, born and raised in Klamath Falls and then later graduating Summa Cum Laude from OSU. Following his undergraduate studies, he spread his wings and attended the Southern College of Optometry in Tennessee. At SCO, he was honored to receive one of only four Presidential Endowed Scholarships. He later graduated with SCO honors and pursued additional ocular disease training at the Fayetteville, Arkansas VA Medical Center.
In addition to practicing at the VA Medical Center, Dr. Valle instructed students at the Cherokee Nation W.W. Hastings Hospital in association with Northeastern State University of Oklahoma College of Optometry. After completing his residency, he moved back to his home state and began practicing medicine in Roseburg.
He enjoyed the natural beauty of the Umpqua region, but he fell more in love when he met his wife, Jenna. They left Roseburg in 2018 to operate a small practice in Ashland, but the pandemic later tested their entrepreneurial spirits. They learned a lot about what they truly valued and envisioned for their future during the pandemic. As a result, Dr. Valle and his wife searched for a new direction that aligned. Dr. Valle is thrilled to find the perfect fit at The Corvallis Clinic.
Compassionate, caring, and down-to-Earth are just a few words that patients would use to describe Dr. Valle. A couple of his favorite patient moments involve:
a) A young child being fit with glasses for the first time (a genuinely heartwarming moment!)
b) The look on someone’s face when they see clearly for the first time
Dr. Valle has a love for the outdoors. When he’s not seeing patients, he can be found outdoors camping or hiking with his wife and dogs. He has recently been interested in woodworking and the related hobby of convincing his wife that he needs more tools. He also enjoys watching sports and rooting for the Portland Trail Blazers and the Oregon State Beavers.
