Dr. Binggeli specializes in adult individual psychotherapy and is particularly skilled in the treatment of anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and insomnia.
Language(s) - English
Dr. Binggeli offers individual psychotherapy to adults. He is comfortable working with a broad range of issues, and he has special interests in anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and insomnia. He is committed to helping his patients feel supported in learning how to meet better the challenges they have been experiencing. In his work, he draws from nearly two decades of professional practice and evidence-based principles of psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Dr. Binggeli chose the field of psychology because it combines a subject that is “endlessly interesting” with being able to help people. “People typically come to psychotherapy when they are feeling stuck despite their best efforts,” he said. “I find it very rewarding to use my skills to help them tap into their strengths and learn new skills to enable them to improve their life situation.”
Dr. Binggeli’s office is in the Aumann Building at 444 NW Elks Drive in Corvallis. He offers services by telehealth when appropriate. He is in-network and is accepting patients who have insurance plans with the following payors: Aetna, HealthComp (First Choice Health), Healthcare Management Administrators (HMA), Moda, PacificSource, Providence (PBH), Optum, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Samaritan Health Plans, and United (UBH). He also accepts self-pay.
