Remember “Fernando,” the Billy Crystal character from the Saturday Night Live skit “Fernando’s Hideaway?” With his coiffed silver hair and unique Spanish-accented inflections, the smarmy yet likeable Fernando always advised that it was “better to look good than to feel good.” (If you don’t know what we are talking about, click here for a short clip featuring a young Billy Crystal and an alive George Steinbrenner.)
Of course, we at The Corvallis Clinic most importantly want you to be healthy, which certainly may translate into both looking and feeling good. That being said, sometimes a cosmetic skin condition can prevent a person from feeling good about him or herself.
Conditions that cause unsightly reddish skin – such as rosacea – while not serious can be distressing to those who have them. Fortunately, they can be eliminated. Click here to find out how Clinic Dermatologist Dr. Brad Yentzer uses laser technology to get the red out.
And as always, have a healthy day (or, as Fernando would likely put it: “May your health be mahvelous.”)
