CORVALLIS — Kathryn Thurman, a radiologic technologist in The Corvallis Clinic Imaging Services, has earned the Computed Tomography (CT) certification granted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Thurman, who has been with The Clinic since 2008, recently passed the CT exam administered by ARRT.
Thurman had to meet education and ethics requirements before taking the exam. Employers, state licensing agencies, and federal regulators look at the ARRT credential as an indication that a person has met a recognized national standard for medical imaging, interventional procedures, and radiation therapy professionals.
